Heat Screen™ provides an excellent way to reflect radiant heat away from a vehicle's interior and because it is flexible and can be cut to size to protect it from excessive heat sources. Constructed from a high temperature fiberglass material and only .060" thick, Heat Screen™ features a thermal barrier on one side of a superior reflective aluminized Mylar surface that can withstand direct heat up to 1200°F. Heat Screen™ can be used to protect areas where excessive heat can chip paint, where exhaust pipes run near the fuel tank, and has many other uses including floorboards, body panels and under carpet.DEI's Cool Tape™ is ideal for sealing and masking seams.
