This Mallory 47-Series Unilite billet aluminum distributor gives you an accurate, maintenance-free ignition timing. Instead of old-fashioned points systems, it has a photo-optic LED-triggering system that never varies or wears out.
Result is increased rpm potential, improved combustion, longer spark plug life and better cold-weather starting.
Fits Pontiac V8 engines 301cui (4.9L), 326cui (5.3L), 350cui (5.7L), 389cui (6.4L), 400cui (6.6L), 421cui (6.9L), 428cui (7.0L) & 455cui (7.5L) 1955-1981 without computer-controlled ignition
Ready to Run - installed by a simple 3-wire connection
Features self-lubricating bushings and a Super-Duty Cap and Rotor
Ballast resistor (e.g. # 32388) is required, Active Power Filter (# 323118) is recommended (both sold separately)
