This adapter mounts a spin-on cartridge oil filter to all 1968-2000 Generation I Small Block Chevy
and all 1968-1990 Mark IV Big Block Chevy V8
-Not for use with 1988-2000 4x4 Trucks that use an angled adapter
or vehicles that use an oil cooler
-Contains a filter bypass valve
-No gasket required; mounts directly to the block
-Not for LS1/LT1 engines
-13/16-16" nipple thread size
